Product Description
National Instruments Instrumental Emulator / v2.0 The Instrumental Emulator (Product code: 183913C-01) and the Instrumental Emulator v2.0 (Product Codes: 780212-01, 780212-04, and 198143A-01L) are both designed by National Instruments as mimicry mechanisms for various tools. The former version allows users to adjust its configuration via dip switches, whereas the latter is more software-oriented. The Emulator v2.0 also differs in its power mechanism, offering either U.S. 120VAC (Product code: 780212-01) or UNIV EURO 240VAC (Product code: 780212-04) options. Both iterations of the Instrumental Emulator are compatible with LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI. They offer a sophisticated approach to the GPIB communication protocol, with the Instrumental Emulator being compatible with the 488.2SRQ protocol and fully capable of handling commands like SCPI. The Instrumental Emulator functions as a digital multimeter (DMM) and a digital oscilloscope. Its design is versatile and can be used in various settings, from classrooms to industrial environments. It also supports VISA communication through LabVIEW or LabWindows. Perhaps one of its standout features is its debugging capability. The emulator can replace multiple debugging instruments for the GPIB system, saving significant time. It's ideally suited for customer education courses and connects to the GPIB interface module via a GPIB cable. It requires a 9-9 pin or 9-25 pin modem RS-232 cable to connect to the PC COM port and is designed to operate with 120 VAC voltage. Moreover, it's equipped for waveform generation.
