Product Description
The NI PXI-8119 RT (referenced as 782555-33) is an efficient, high-performance embedded controller powered by Intel Core i7-3610QE, purpose-built for PXI frameworks. It's an excellent match for data acquisition applications as well as modular instrumentation demanding high processing power. Users can develop applications on the NI LabVIEW Real-Time Module operating on Windows, then transfer the program to the PXI-8119 RT through an Ethernet connection. The inbuilt code operates on a real-time OS, enabling the user to take advantage of the diverse LabVIEW tools. Furthermore, users can allot particular tasks to run on specific processor cores or leave the real-time OS to manage it. Applications constructed on the LabVIEW Real-Time will continue to execute even if the host computer is interrupted or rebooted, ensuring a reliable operation. The PXI-8119 RT Embedded Controller, having its individual chassis and designated power supply, can function without any disruptions to the real-time program even if the host computer is switched off. The system can also be programmed to start automatically when powered on, enabling a standalone operation. The PXI-8119 RT Embedded Controller is available in two variants, each designed for different usage and environmental conditions. The extended temperature and 24/7 operation model features a special hard drive designed for reliable performance in both low and high-temperature conditions, operating within a range of 0 ° C to 55 ° C. Meanwhile, the standard model has a slightly narrower temperature operation range of 5 ° C to 50 ° C.
