Product Description

Introducing the Interactive Laboratory Learning Tool by National Instruments, the NI ELVIS II. This educational equipment, designed primarily for an academic setting, allows educators to impart practical experimental skills to their students in a live environment. The compact design of the device includes a dozen commonly used lab instruments like digital multimeter, variable power supply, function generator, Bode analyzer, oscilloscope, and several types of analyzers and generators. The NI ELVIS II is equipped with a selection of either 8 differential or 16 single-ended analog input channels, capable of achieving a maximum sample rate of 1.25 MS/s for a single channel, or 1 MS/s for multi-channel operations. With its USB compatibility, this easy-to-use device connects seamlessly to a standard PC, providing access to an array of built-in instruments. It features a detachable protoboard, allowing students to construct circuits. The device comes with user-friendly control systems, including dedicated knobs for adjusting voltage of variable power supplies and controlling frequency and amplitude for the function generator. This educational gadget offers a hands-on approach for students to prototype their circuits and test their functionality. It offers access to +5 V and ±15 V power supply, allowing the design of a range of common circuits. The swappable prototyping board allows for multiple uses. Not only does the NI ELVIS 2 offer two analog output channels for arbitrary waveform generation, but it also includes DC power supplies that deliver a fixed output of +5 V, +15 V, and -15 V. In terms of size, the device is compact at 14.5 x 11.0 x 3.0 in. and weighs 4.2 lb. Although National Instruments has declared the NI ELVIS II to be obsolete, it will remain available for purchase and repairs.
