The HPE Edgeline EL1000 (Item Number: 785689-01) is a Combined IoT PXI Casing created by National Instruments and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. This casing acts as a bridge between operational and informational technologies, facilitating the blend of control and data acquisition. This IoT Casing is equipped with system and device management, robust security akin to data centers, and extensive storage capacity, all in a single combined casing. This robust system is engineered to function in extreme environments, tolerating high temperature, severe vibrations, and shocks. The HPE Edgeline EL1000 is viewed as a suitable option for expanding the IoT infrastructure. It is equipped with four USB 3.0 ports, two 2.5” SSDs or HDDs, and two extension slots. The Edgeline EL1000 is constructed modularly, allowing for customization through the addition or removal of various modules or cards to meet specific needs. The networking choices for this combined system include two networking ports (10G SFP+ or 1G RJ45). The Edgeline EL1000 can be powered by a fitting ProLiant Server Blade. Two server blades can be used with this Casing: the ProLiant m510 and the ProLiant m710x. The ProLiant m510 is equipped with an Intel® Xeon® D CPU, while the ProLiant m710x houses an Intel® Xeon® E3 CPU. A unique feature of the HPE Edgeline EL1000 is its dedicated iLO RJ45 port that supports the deployment of the Integrated Lights Out (iLO) security and remote management system. This Combined IoT PXI Casing comes with either 2 PCIe slots or 2 PXI/PXIe hybrid slots. Optionally, an additional 2 Mini-PCIe slots can also be integrated into the system.
