The CMT PXIe-S5090 (Product Code: 787251-01) is a 2-channel PXI Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) boasting a frequency spectrum of 300 kHz up to 9 GHz. This 9 GHz VNA is engineered to deliver amplitude, phase, and impedance data, alongside computing the S-parameters of 2-port radio frequency (RF) devices, and time-domain analysis. It offers swift sweeping speeds and an expansive dynamic range, making it suitable for automated product testing and design validation. It is also equipped to provide comprehensive vector analysis, reference plane adjustments, and calibration. With two 50 Ohm 3.5 mm test port connectors, the CMT PXIe-S5090 VNA promises a measurement speed of 16 µs, providing metrology-grade VNA performance at accelerated speeds. This VNA is ideal for testing 2-port RF devices anywhere from the production line to the workbench in a versatile, compact form, with a maximum power of 13 dBm and 138 dB dynamic ranges. This VNA is fine-tuned for superior automation performance, ensuring swift first measurements and reduced test times. Its software incorporates gating and time-domain measurements. The CMT PXIe-S5090 is also equipped with a 1.0 GHz integrated CPU and 512 MB RAM, and is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7. Moreover, the VNA can accept a 10 MHz external reference input through a male type 50-ohm SMB connector. A dedicated port named Ref OUT 10 MHz is available to draw a 10 MHz frequency reference output from the CMT PXIe-S5090.
