The SCXI-1180 is a custom circuitry module by National Instruments, identified by part number 776572-80. It extends unconditioned signal lines from the back to the front of an SCXI chassis and can be used as a daisy-chain extender for convenience. While the SCXI-1180 has been announced as obsolete by National Instruments, it is still available for purchase and repairs from Apex Waves.
