The Pigtail-Pigtail Auto Ethernet Cable is an essential component in crafting automotive Ethernet networks. This distinct cable is explicitly fashioned for the Automotive Ethernet Modules (PXIe-8522 and PXI-8523). It is an unshielded type providing 3-lane, bidirectional connectivity. Additionally, its casing is tailored from a flame-resistant material for added safety. The Pigtail-Pigtail Auto Ethernet Cable is compatible with the 1000BASE-T1 protocol, a standard for Gigabit Ethernet used in automotive and industrial control settings. It carries TRX_P and TRX_M bidirectional signals, where TRX_P is the transceiver plus signal, and TRX_M is the transceiver minus signal. To establish a communication link between the host port and the device being tested (DUT), a unique Pigtail-Pigtail Auto Ethernet Cable is required. Therefore, to fully exploit a 4-port interface module, four separate cables are necessary. There are two variants of this cable, differing in length and the type of front end connection. Both editions have a Pigtail Back End Connection. One variant, with part number 787108-05, is a 5m cable featuring a 3-Pin, Male OMNIMATE B2CF Front End Connection. The other variant, with part number 787109-15, is 15m long and has a Pigtail Front End Connection.
